Resonator
#8424
Introducing Resonator # 8424! It’s got a mahogany body, mahogany neck and a hard maple fretboard with inlayed star fret markers.
Many resonator players feel that the true resonator sound comes from the guitar being played acoustically, “unplugged”. We left this guitar just that, completely acoustic, without a pickup and it sounds amazing “unplugged”!
For the cover plate, we took brass, cnc carved the design, then experimented with a new aging process and came out with something very unique and original, almost giving it the look of copper that has years of patina.
The mahogany has a black “glaze“ applied, worn off and then clear coated with a matte lacquer to give it that soft, silky feel.
We also offer this with an interchangeable “Krivo” pickup for those of you that may want to plug in at some point.
$2200.00
With the Krivo pickup $ 2475.00
As always, it comes in a hard shell case. More photos available upon request.

The innovative combination of a Fishman Nashville Series pickup with a mini P90 brings together crisp articulation and clarity of the Nashville pickup with the warm punchy tones of the mini P90.
This was a custom build where we got to use our “artistic license.” We used mahogany for the body and neck and walnut for the fretboard. Whether you’re plucking intricate melodies or sliding up the neck, this unique pairing offers an unparalleled tonal experience. This was a custom build but we can do a Swamp Dog for you also!
